Elijah Mantle - A Prophetic Website

Like Elisha, I want to have a double portion of Elijah's spirit to fall upon me (2 Kings 2)

True Warrior Of Light

True Warrior Of Light is a prophetic writing that I wrote. The heartbeat of this writing is to bring the reader to who God has ordained you to be! May it go deep into your spirit, so that you understand that you are not ordinary, you are a Warrior, a Light, a Fighter in the Kingdom of God.

Fear (March 07)

The True Warrior of Light hides under the chair, trembling in fear. The enemy seems to come closer and closer, surrounding him and there was nothing he could do, except to cower in fear, overwhelmed by the darkness that surrounds him, striken, terrified and gripped, unable to move from where he hides. Suddenly, he heard a sound of warriors marching into the room and standing in attention. A hushness covered the room, followed by the entrance of True Light. True Light appears angry as He descended into the room. He came to where True Warrior of Light is and He haul the chair that covers him and threw it away. He stooped down and lifted True Warrior of Light to his feet. He gripped him on his shoulders and looked into his eyes and He speaks:

"I call you True Warrior of Light. I have not given you a spirit of fear but of power of love and of a sound mind. You are My child, My son and you are called to fight. My love for you is perfect and perfect love drives out all fear. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. The enemy has no power over you. Know that I am with you at all times. Have faith, and take courage for I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Question: Does fear grip you? Remember that God is with you always and that perfect love drives out fear.

Forgotten Identity (Oct 06)

The man stands in front of the mirror in his business suit. He looks at himself in the mirror and there is a nagging tag at his heart about something important he has forgotten but he cannot recall what it is. He is a successful man now. He senses a deep emptiness within him. Although surrounded by success, he felt alone, very alone. He had believed that success would give him everything, but he was wrong. There was a time when he had nothing, not a penny to his name but he had felt rich, very rich and not lacking in anything. Strange.

He was once a True Warrior of Light. He once wore the armour, carried the sword and bore the light. But that has become a faded memory of long ago. Something else has taken its place. “Busy”. He is now too busy with his work, his career, his family, his life, the trappings of wealth and power, his leisure activities. They now consume his life and he has forgotten his true identity as the True Warrior of Light. His sword is covered in dust, his light no longer shine. He was once a fearless warrior who fought with valor and passion. He forgot his identity, little by little as time passed by. It was gradual, so gradual, so subtle that he did not even realized when it happened. First, he did not take the time to dwell with the True Light, then the urgency and needs of his many responsibilities demanded his time, next he felt he needed to relax and take time off from wielding his sword, subsequently his priorities changed as his passion for True Light waned. It had crept slowly upon him. Of course the voice of the enemy assured him that “This is right, I need to take care of my family, I need to work, I have important business deals to take care of, I can just give financially for the cause of True Light. It is enough.”

Question: Have you forgotten your true identity?

Defeat (Oct 06)

The True Warrior of Light lie on the ground covered in blood. He struggles to stand up but the effort is too much even for him, the battle had been too intensive, he was seeped of his energy. He lie crushed down on the floor, scars all over his body, he felt so weak, unable to move any part of his body, but his mind and his spirit is still very much alive. He cries for help, but he does not even have that ounce of strength left, what came forth was a feeble whimper and no one seem to hear. He is hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. He knows the True Light is with him. He cannot see and cannot sense the presence of the True Light but he remembers the promises given to him. He clung to those promises in the face of crushing defeat.

Again and again the enemy taunts him “Stand up and fight if you can, you wimp, you loser, you nobody. You are a nobody and will never amount to anybody.”

He refuses to listen to the taunts; instead he forced himself to listen to the voice of the True Light. He searches for the True Light, He longs for the True Light. Where is the True Light? After what seemed like eternity, a blinding light appears in front of him, of such brilliance……

Question:  Are you holding on to the promises of True Light despite your crushing circumstances?

Are You A True Warrior Of Light? (Oct 06)

Who is The True Warrior of Light? He who bears the sword and brings light into the darkness. He is the True Warrior of Light. The sword is not used to destroy but it is used to bring light and life. It remains in the sheath until the time, it faces the enemy and has to be drawn out. It remains in the sheath, until the time it is called to stand for righteousness. It remains in the sheath, until the time it is needed to bring Truth into the life of people. Until such a time, the warrior will carry the sword but not use it. It is but a tool, a powerful weapon. Its purpose is to bring light. Only in bringing light, can the sword wield the greatest authority and power. Only in setting captives free, is the sword true to its calling and its owner, true to the Light he has been called to go after. The True Warrior Of Light shines in the darkness. He needs no light, he is the light because he dwells with the True Light. Light dispels darkness wherever it goes. Such is the function of light.

Question:  Are you a true warrior of light?
